Jazzit Fundamentals release notes for August 28, 2020 update
CLIENT ENCLOSURE LETTER
Formatting of Main sections, Enclosures and Other matters can now be modified using menu buttons in the Client Enclosure Letter.
ENGAGEMENT LETTER
Added a warning to the old format engagement letter for transition to the new compilation standard (CSRS 4200). This warning will appear if the old letter is used in a file with a year end date after the transition date (December 14, 2021).
JAZZIT TOOLBOX
Added new tools to the toolbox: level of assurance, optional statement prefix, month and year (current and prior), generic dates in multiple formats.
9 COLUMN STATEMENT OF CASH FLOWS
Corrected an issue in the nine column statement of cash flows that caused the summarized changes in non-cash working capital to calculate incorrectly when the note is not included in the statements and the supplemental information section is turned off.
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS HOME MENU MODULE
Resolved an issue that caused the column width and balance sheet signature lines to revert to Jazzit defaults when updated from the old (blue) Home Menu to the new (grey) Home Menu.
Remember that updating to this release will include all features and functionality from prior releases, together with any corrections made to the templates.
