February 25, 2022, Jazzit Fundamentals update now available

Administrators please note we will be moving from CaseWare 2020 to 2021 version only at the end of April. While we presently support for both CaseWare 2020 and 2021 we will be providing updates only in CaseWare 2021 after April 29th. An archive in CaseWare 2020 version of our templates will be available from our website download area (Snackbar) for Jazzit Fundamentals only.

Please be advised that after April 29th any issue reported to us will only be corrected in CaseWare 2021 version.

 

Here are the revisions included in the February 25, 2022, update to Jazzit Fundamentals.

Remember to update your KLIB/FRMLIB Resources Centres via the RC UPDATE control located at the top of your document manager. Updating to this release will include all prior revisions made to the templates.

You must have CaseWare Working papers 2020 or newer installed if you wish to update from the Resource Centre update control in KLIB and FRMLIB.

FS- FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND SCHEDULES

  • Added paragraph skip in statement heading if period ending information is set to blank.

 

 

JZUPDATE- RC UPDATE CONTROL

  • New documents are now automatically added to the Resource Centre and Master file document managers.

 

  • Updated step 4 (refresh dates), JZUPDATE no longer needs to be reloaded before step 5.

 

K2 - BASIS OF PRESENTATION NOTES

  • Added new options to the Basis of Presentation note.

 

KN- GENERIC AND SINGLE COLUMN NOTES

  • Added a new note for retractable shares.

 

TC - FINANCIAL STATEMENT INDEX

  • Added the ability to edit the heading “Index to Financial Statements.
