Jazzit Fundamentals release notes for February 26, 2021 update
The modules listed below are dated January 26, 2021 in your Resource Centre JZUPDATE RC update control. Remember that Jazzit Fundamentals updates are cumulative. Updating to this release will include all revisions made to the templates. You must have CaseWare Working papers 2020 installed if you wish to update from the Resource Centre update control in KLIB and FRMLIB.
CLIENT ENCLOSURE LETTER
Added the ability to number the Enclosure and Other Matter section titles in the Letter Format menu.
JZTOOLS
Added the following cells to the toolbox: Abbreviation of accounting standard, Assurance framework, Title of management, entity type and stakeholders, Title of practitioner, and Report opinion.
Added generic date cells to the toolbox. The type of date linked can be selected by right-clicking on the cell and choosing the appropriate option.
REPRESENTATION LETTER
Added an option to select alternative descriptions for the Property Plant and Equipment section title via right click menu.
Added features to all text paragraphs similar to other letters, including: skip paragraph, page break above, and update paragraph from resource centre on the right click menu, as well as numbered section titles.
ENGAGEMENT LETTER
Increased the number of additional clauses in the engagement letter from 5 to 15.
Impairment disclosures have been added to the sample report for compilations under CSRS 4200.
Remember that updating to this release will include all features and functionality from prior releases, together with any corrections made to the templates.
